Default Grouse on the Kaibab

Came back this weekend from 16 days just north of the N Rim of the Grand Canyon hunting for my buffalo. Unfortunately did not harvest one. Did squeeze on some grouse hunting.

I did get to eat squirrel 2 evenings, and Grouse 2 evenings. Thanks to my brother George. I would have had wild turkey one night but the steaks were already thawed.

LOL yeah right.... the closest thing we did coming close to living off the land was cooking in an iron skillet.
I must say the grouse was incredible.

Head out next week without the dogs.
