Telling of a vent rib gun has been cut of not should be pretty easy.
If it is a 30" gun, that is a little on the rarer side as opposed to the much more common 32".

Parker SBT 241919 was sold as a consigned shotgun at Abercrombie & Fitch in 1958. I cannot say how it left the factory but the barrel length in 1958 is in the G&H archive.
