Cabelas puzzles me, they had that gun listed for $2200 they could have easily sold if for 4 or 5 thousand. But they have pleanty of other beaters listed for twice what their worth? Sorry I wasn't paying attention too.

I think the gun was sold before it hit the Net. Just maybe they were throwing us a bone! To keep us on our toes and on their site. A DHE Live bird gun for that money what looked to be fluid steel barrels the stock maybe cut and pad added but still ?

They had a VHE 20 ga. in about the same contition, all original that sold for $2500 last fall. When I called the gun room manager told me they had about a dozen calls at 9:00 when the store opened, they sold it to the first caller.

I believe I called on that one too Chris ,and I was told I was # nine ,If I remember right ,one of " us " bought the gun ,at least it stayed in the " Family " !

I don't believe it was an ejector gun was it? I think it was just a DH.
