Looks like the barrels have been cut too. I don't know, if the barrels were salvageable without too much complications, it would be tempting.

I didn't bother looking to see how the matting looked. The barrels are just really hammered. I'd bet you could shoot low pressure loads through them for the next 50 years but they'll always be ugly and wavy. I think if you tried to fix them they'd be so 'worked' by the time you were done something wouldn't be right.
What I see is a serviceable receiver, triggers, forend iron, and trigger guard (good for restoration). But the gun needs new wood, buttplate, and barrels. |

Decent 16 g. 0-frame barrels aren't that hard to find. I think that gun might be worth a transplant.
