Default DH two barrel set

I was looking at a DH 20ga two barrel set sn 82403 one barrel set was 28 in damascus the other was 30 inch titanic steel. both forends had the same sn and the stock had a straight english style grip. Can anybody tell me what the original configuration for this gun was?

Brent, The 28" damascus barrels are original to the gun and it left Meriden as a straight grip.A letter may explain the Titanic barrels.

Thanks, Gun shows normal wear no color and there are a few small dents in both barrel sets but overall looks pretty honest and the action is fairly tight the wood is very good. Anybody care to suggest what a fair price on something like that.

It's long gone. I have a friend in the Gun Library at one of the Minnesota stores and he asked them to send it to him. They (Washington store) said the gun couldn't leave the store untill Jan 7 and to forget about it untill then. We called on the 7th and it was sold to someone who looked at it the day befor It wasn't supposed to be out.

A typical example of Cabelas...either they price things to high or underprice them. This was underpriced by almost 100%.

Too bad, I bet Cabellas phone is ringing off the hook on that one. But I knew it was too good to be true.

Typical Cabelas BS, either 100% high or 100% low. As for call back after the 7th, that rings familier as well. Rumor has it that Cabelas is getting out of the high-end gun market. Good riddance.
