Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Hello from Minnesota
I belong to a number of gun related forums, but only discovered this one today. Over the years I've owned a variety of Parkers, but have whittled the number down to the original V grade that was given to me by my Uncle. It was my Grandfathers and passed to my Uncle(Mom's Brother) and then on to me because his grandsons didn't want that "old junk".
It's a VH 16 ga. on a 0 frame, with an English straight grip #103,4XX. I'd rate it at about 40% original finish. It was my Grandfather's only shotgun and he USED it. It was my every day(during the hunting seasons) shotgun from age 15 until my Grandfather died and I gave it back to my Uncle. After my Uncle gave it back to me it was used on a semi regular basis, as I had began my "accumulation of Parkers". And a few others, too. Over the last few years it's been relegated mostly, to the safe with a few outings for grouse and sporting clays.
Please don't hate me, but my current grouse collector is an 1880's vintage 20 ga. James Purdey.
I should also note, my name "ParkerBoy" is from my Grandfather. When he first introduced me to the gun, his statement to me was, "It's a Parker boy!" I was probably about 10 at the time.
