Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Greetings from NC
My wife recently reminded me of the shotgun that was handed down to her from her grandfather. I knew the gun was "important" and I had hunted with grandfather a couple of times and had seen the gun, but that was back in the 70s. I was quite surprised when after all these years it was a Parker Brothers double barrel 12 gauge serial number 70186. What a beautiful gun! It appears to be in excellent condition, no cracks in the stock, a small amount of pitting on one barrel. I am overwhelmed to have such a fine American gun. I do not hunt or shoot anymore and it seems to me this gun would be more appreciated by someone who knows the value and history of the gun. We live in NC and are going to attend the Southern Side by Side this weekend looking for advice. Will there be anybody available to talk to about this gun and can I bring it into the area? Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, bring it to the shoot. You can bring it down into the Parker/LC Smith tent in the dove field. There will be many of us there that would be happy to look at your gun for you and tell you we can about it.
