Default Rio Bismuth shotshells

I bought some Rio 12 gauge 2-3/4 1-1/8 oz #5 with 1350 FPS bismuth shotshells and was wondering what chamber pressure they have. I believe the box does not say what the Dram amount is. Maybe Max? Want to shoot these in my VH 12 gauge but do not want to damage it. Any information will be helpful. Thanks. BW.

a couple guys mentioned using them a while back

http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthr...hlight=bismuth

for pressure- i would think you would need to either contact them or send a few to Tom Roster for testing

note the ad says for classic guns

but the specs say MAX for dram equiv

I have shot them at ducks all year in a 32" 1906 VH and have been very happy with them. Do not have specs but would say it is mostly dependent upon the condition of the gun and wall integrity. Good luck.

At the Shot Show today a Rio representative informed me that the 2 3/4" Bizmuth is around 8000 psi. The heavier 3" loads may be around 9000 psi. They intend to publish this data in the future.

Sportsmans Warehouse carries the largest asst of Rio ammo I've seen, but I don't they they had bismuth. I also saw some Rio at Cabelas in Denver but not much variety.
