Tom, that's just about word for word the same post I made back on the old forum many years ago after my first round of skeet with my first Parker.
Congratulations! (I have yet to break a perfect 25 at skeet but I don't shoot for score, I shoot for grouse-shooting practice) I echo Dave's words of encouragement in finding a mate for your lonely Trojan. |

Well Tom all I can say is now you have done it. You have been infected and there is no known cure. A desire to own more Parkers is going to affect you for the rest of your life

Just shoot #9's and you will pick up 2 more birds, I have also figured that you are at a one bird handicap vs the over and under shooters at skeet

Tom,
I think Pat is on to something with #9 shot. I shoot 7 1/2 at just about everything feathered or clay. Yesterday I took a little .410 SXS (I had the stock cut down to 12.5" for the grandchildren) amd shot sporting clays. I shot 2 1/2 and 3" shells with #9 shot and was supprised at how far those loads would break a clay. My father shot a lot of 8 1/2 shot. We called him "school bus" because he would take us to school on shooting. Good Luck, Harry |
