I agree with Charlie. They look four blade to me. Wouldn't that be for grade C?

I believe those barrels are from a Grade 2.

Grades 3 and higher would have the grade number stamped on the right side barrel flat toward the breech end. D = 3, C = 4, B = 5, A = 6, AA = 7, where Grade 2 and below did not get a grade stamp.

Usually, but not always, Grade 5 and higher would have the DD (finest Damascus) stamp where this one is stamped with a single D

Chuck may be able to answer this, but I have seen 4 blade damascus on G, D, C and B.

The engraving at the breech would suggest a grade 3.

A 3 appears on the right of the barrel flat which is not seen in the picture. It is at the far breach end of the barrels.

I agree with Dean. Grade 3 My damascus D hammerless gun is identical.

But I also agree with Edgar as I to have seen higher grade damascus barrels used on lower grade guns. I fact it brings to mind a wonderful D grade hammerless gun with 6 blade barrels on it and the gun was all original. Tried like hell to buy that gun but to no avail.
