There's a company, or at least used to be, from that town called Ideal. They were a USA manufacturer of hunting clothes. They still have a website but apparently all the contact info on it is dead so you can't actually order anything. I was just curious if they were still in business in some way. I like to buy American whenever possible and they were the last company other than Filson that made decent hunting wear in big mens sizes that I'm aware of.

I'll see what I can find out. I have a friend who lives near there. Most of the clothing manufacturing jobs in this area lost out to Mexico and China.

I appreciate it.

It's just odd, somebody is paying to keep the website online but you can't get ahold of them.

I have a pair of their upland pants and would like to purchase more. Very well made and comfortable. Bob

Destry, have you tried their phone number? It is listed in the ordering section of the website. Looks like some neat stuff. It would be nice to visit the place. We had a Utica Duxback factory near us and it was more fun to visit and pick up the closeouts and blemished items. I am still wearing that stuff.

Destry, I made some calls this morning. Ideal closed shop about a year and a half ago, sorry.

Yes Bill, the first thing I did was call the phone number.

Dave I appreciate you looking into it for me, I figured it was over but just wanted to make sure. I wonder what they did with all the inventory?
