Default Clay Pigeons and Trampolines

I went up to Scarborough Maine yesterday with a friend who is new to doubles and sporting clays for the Vintager's Dirigo Cup event. It has historically been a small crowd (19 this year) which is shame as Scarborough is a very nice course and entry fees reasonable. This year shooters were treated to two stations with a simo pair and one of the clays would hit a trampoline set an angle and bounce off it into the air. I had never seen this before.

Mal MacGregor took 1st place with a 91 x 100, I finished 2nd with an 83.

The shoot wrapped up around 12:30PM and most of us went for pizza and beer at nearby Portland Pies and then to Cabela's.

At the Scarborough Cabela's there is a "DelGrego Skeet Gun", GHE 20ga, 221 serial number range, like new and identical to a factory skeet gun except for a double trigger, $7299. It is not yet on their website.

Pete, Backwoods has a trampoline station. They are a blast! Congratulations on your second place....

Congrats Pete.

Four years ago at my skeet club a gentleman walked into the clubhouse with a DelGrego GHE 20 ga. skeet gun with a similar serial number. The gun had it all (DelGrego style) and he offered it to me at $2400. I had no use for an upgrade like that in my collection so I passed. Maybe a year or so later Wildwood Guns had it advertised for $7500 and it sold in a month. Funny how these guns move around and the prices change with each resurfacing.
