Default Ringing barrels

I shot the new 1890 GH12 today for the first time. I do not believe this gun had been fired in a very long time. Gun has good bores, plenty of thickness and on a typical 2 frame with 30" barrels. Pattern tested with light 2.5" RST and everything looked and felt right. Shot slightly high at 25 yards, but likely would Be right on at 40 where Parker tested. Then shot two boxes of RST at clays, and the gun shoots very well. Great balance and swings nicely. Everything feels normal as compared to my 2 PH guns from same time period. I then shot a few 2 3/4" 1 oz 2 3/4 dram loads and the gun makes a distinctive ringing sound. Have not heard this before so went back to RST 2 1/2" and no unusual sound. Gun is on face and forend and stock are normal. Anyone ever experienced this. Sounds like a bell. 2 3/4 shells chamber easily with light recoil and extraction. Looked at everything and no signs of distress. Was #8 shot rio. I shoot these out of my other guns without issue. A light load.
