Default Fall Parker-Smith SXS Challenge

Well, the Parker Bros shooters did it one more time-Parker 130, Smith 116!!!
The final Parker Bros team was in order:Mike Sellers, Carl Brandt, Robert McClenengan, Dave Fjelline and Sherry Jordan

In the fall Challenge you can shoot the qualifying round as many times as you want and only your highest score counts. The team must contain one female and next year may also require one youth.

L C Smith did prevail in the Trap challenge. We need some more trap shooters next year.

Capt Mitchell,

The rules were very visible and up on Wednesday on the left side of the leader board out in front of the club house. The young lady running the counter/ taking registrations at Ricks was even giving out copies of the rules for all events, event a map of the course/ etc when you turned in your registration.

AGAIN VERY MUCH ACCESSABBLE TO ALL. It seems the vast majority of shooters understood the rules with no issues.

It is my understanding that the PGCA and LSCA have nothing officially to do with the challenge event at this shoot. I understand it to be not officially sanctioned by either but is established and run and rules established by Rick Hemingway. I may be wrong about this but this has been my understanding over the past few years.
The rules for this challenge have always been different than the one in the spring.

IMO it is the shooters responsibility to familiarize themselves with the rules for the shoot they are entering. I have made the mistake of assuming in the past and it too hurt me. But it was no ones fault but my own. It would be one thing if the rules were never made available but in this case they were made available and in several different ways.

AS for how far in advance they were made available I cannot comment. I do not have any info on this.

John is correct. This shoot is run and regulated by Rick Hemmingway. The rules are not usually posted on his website but at the event. I really like the ability to "qualify" as often as I feel like so one bad shoot is not fatal
