The steel barrels may very well be original to your gun. I have an older 20 ga. PHE with 28 in. Parker Steel barrels that my PGCA Research Letter states is the original configuration. Its Serial No. is 177508 and was shipped from PB in August 1917. Regards, Bill |

Thanks Bill, looks like we have a couple of PH guns with Parker steel barrels before the one in TPS they thought was the first & yours is evidently in the record books. i beleive i read somewhere that Parker Steel first came out on PH guns in 1917.
