marks on barrel flats

Default marks on barrel flats

I looked at all the info on the pages I could find....Now here is what I can't find. ON BARREL FLATS: a circle with J.G.
a small c after the 3 for barrel wt.
a O before the V for the Grade
a HT over an A
It also has Overload (over) Parker Bros. (over) Proved

Hi Ray,

It appears you have a Trojan. If so it will say Trojan Steel on the top rib.

The OV stamp indicates the Trojan model. It is an ungraded Parker falling below the VH which is a Grade 0. None the less, it is still a Parker shotgun and is as solidly built as any of the graded guns and just as "reliable".
