Daniel, I love my 16 gauges for bird hunting, they carry like a 20 and hit like a 12!!! In my opinion you can never go wrong with a Browning. I have several friends who use their 3 inch Browning 2000 for most of their waterfowl hunting. I shoot a lot of wobble trap and sporting clays with my Browning Superposes.

Scott Totally agree with you on the 16 for birds. My DHE two barrel set has a set of 28 barrels Imp and mod that I enjoy in the field and on the skeet range. My other 16 GH 2 1/2 inch has 28 inch barrels choked Imp and full is easy to carry. I call it my prairie grouse gun because if they get up at 30 yards just pull the back trigger. One frames seems fit me better. The only 16 O frame I had did not work for me.

I just acquired a 16 gauge VH with full/mod 28" barrels. It should be good for turkeys among other things.
