Default Another ammo story

Accompanied the Good Wife to the local Wally World and while she was looking for whatever she was looking for I decided to see if on the off chance they had any shotgun ammo. Lo and behold, 4 box cartons of Federal target shells at 1200fps. $29 and change; I used to pay $24 and change so I figured the upkick wasn't too bad. Orphan Annie can eat those all day long, and they lock them up these days, so I rounded up some guy who was stocking wiper blades and drug him over.

"I'll take four of those," I sez. "I can give you two," says he. "People buy them up." "So it makes a difference to you if I buy them up or if somebody else buys them up?" I asked. "Well, some guys came in last night and I gave them two," he says. "Fine," I said. "I'll take two. And my wife will be over in a minute to buy her two." He looks at me, gives me a disgusted sigh, and says, "Well if you're gonna do that I'll just give you four." "Thanks," I said.
