They are O Grade LC Smith Ejector barrels. The OE grade stamp denotes that. The serial # dates them to 1906 and I got that from a book. I know just by looking at them and having owned several just like them. I would like to know what gauge they are. Do you have anything to measure the bore?

I measured them with a ruler at 11/16ths at the muzzle. I need to go to the shop for a set of calipers, which I will do a in a bit. 16 ga, at a guess.

Measuring the muzzle will give you choke constriction, not necessarily bore diameter, or chamber dimensions (and therefore gauge)

I have measured the breech, and I believe that they are in fact 12ga. My calipers plus my inexpert use of them gives me 0.800 +/-, plus a 12ga shell fits cleanly into the breach.

Is .800 the outside diameter? Normal 12 gauge bore diameter is .729.
