Turkey with Parker DH 10 Gauge
My son-in law, Joey went out turkey hunting Friday morning. We were in a ground blind on the edge of a field where the birds have been coming out in early for the last few days. I only called lightly three times from 6:00am until they came storming in on my last yelp around 7:00. Then it was "Pure Pandolerium".
Four Big Toms stormed my Dave Smith Jake and Joey took his bird then I touched off the back trigger of the Dam barreled 10 and it was over. Now I had to get Joey to unzip the blind and get the other two toms from destroying the deek. Great day. Both birds were over 24lbs and Joey's had an 11 3/4" beard. My bird had three beards with the main beard at 10 3/4" Big spurs on both.
This was a Ten Gauge I bought off Russ Jackson here in the PGCA.
The RST number six worked great!!
Hope these pics come out.
