Default Pre Christmas Shoot

Sorry no pictures but had a great day today with some wonderful friends.
Carl Brandt, James Hall, Benjamin Hall, Ed Blake, Edward Blake, Smith Blake, and myself all got the opportunity to shoot a round together.

Stay warm and merry Christmas to everyone. Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year.

John,
It sounds like you fellows had a great time and Deb and I would like to pass along a Merry Christmas to all our fellow PGCA members. With my grandson home for Christmas break from Coastal Carolina we decided to take he and my son out for a different type of Christmas shoot and to get the dogs some work. It was a little cold but no one seemed to care and a good time was had by all.

Our local club, which is a scant 3 miles from my house, had their annual Christmas turkey shoot today and young Wyatt and I took 3 Parkers and brought home two turkeys! I won mine with the 32" DHE and Wyatt won his with the 12 ga Repro sporting it's 28" IC/M barrels. I failed to win anything with the 26" VHE but came close. Fun was had by all and the temperature soared to 14 degrees F above zero. Too cold to take photos but only one other SxS was in attendance used by a young lad. I didn't recognize the brand, but he shot it well. One fellow commented it was neat to see us with our SxSs.
Merry Christmas to all.

Dave,
At eight months old she is starting to show some really good progress. I have to thank John Dunkle and a couple of other members for their guidance with respect to training pointers. I had a 13 acre select cut done 2 1/2 years ago on our deer property and it is regenerating nicely. We have been putting out chuckers every other weekend to keep her interest up and continue her training. The deer don't like it much, especially the big doe that almost ran me over today.
