Alaska duck hunt
We hunted ducks last weekend but it seems that they had all "left the building". There were very few birds around but we managed to get a few. I got a banded green head with my 30" SG VH12 that is definitely my favorite all-around water fowl gun and #4 Classic Doubles ammo. The duck is already in the freezer but I did get a few good pictures of the hunt. It was cold - 25deg the morning I took this picture. We had to break 1/2" of ice to get the boat away from the island where we camp. Everything was frosted up pretty good. My boat motor wouldn't start so Tom dropped me off and I took this picture as he was about to depart for his spot. It was a truly glorious morning.
