Need advice on Parker serial 71036
Gentlemen,
I recently inherited a Parker shotgun. It was originally my grandfather's gun and was subsequently passed on to my dad. According to the serial number it was manufactured in 1892 and, based on the stampings, is G grade (I think).
Although I can appreciate the history and craftsmanship of such a fine piece of work, I am neither a hunter nor a gun collector and am trying to figure out what to do with it. Any advice as to its condition and value is welcome. Hopefully, the following pictures will help.
Thanks, Richard Manning
