Default buttstock questions

I am aware that a person could order different styles of buttplates on Parker shotguns. What would the "normal" VH grade buttstock plate be?

What would the "normal" size of the of the butt end of the stock be from top to bottom on a #1 frame 16 gauge be? Would the size be different for the "O" frame 16 gauge?

Thanks for any information gentlemen.

A dogs head buttplate.

A 16g would be the 1 size plate. That side plate would be about 5-1/8” tall.

Thank you for the reply. Would that buttplate have the spur, or not? Would both frame sizes have the same size buttplate?

Thanks again.

It depends on year of manufacture. All guns made prior to the mid 20’s had a spur.

And the 0 sized butt did not really start showing up on 0 frame guns until maybe the late teens.
