Default New to the group

Hello, I recently acquired a Parker shotgun and I would like some help with further identification and a rough estimate on value. From my research I am assuming it was manufactured in 1927, is a #2 frame size, and is a “GH” grade with special steel barrel. Serial number is 223461. I have attached some pictures. Thanks in advance.

Hello, welcome Mitch. That is a 0 frame GHE(grade 2)(E for ejectors) 20 gauge with after market grip cap adornment and butt pad. Barrels have been reblued and the wood has been refinished with the appearance of a cut stock. Very difficult to give an accurate value with out having the gun in hand as well as proper measurements taken.

Agree with Dean, it is a nice looking Parker and a 20 ga Parker would command a nice price. I would lose the white line spacers. What is the barrel length, and do you know the chokes.

Go on gunbroker.com & look at the sold prices. The listed prices are all over the place with most priced too high that never sale. It's only worth what someone's willing to pay.
