Excellent! Looks might green there...Florida? (What are the chokes on that nice gun?) We need more details.

Location: Norman Park, GA. I have been shooting bobwhites, doves, marsh hens and one pheasant with the subject gun for 40+ years. I have never had chokes measured. Have not patterned it except on the aforementioned birds. My guess, full and full and when fired it throws the empty out for you. Jbrown

James, I believe your chokes are: Just Right/Just Right

Ah, Norman Park. I recall a concert there when Billy Joe Royal performed, in late 1969, maybe 1970. I was at ABAC, and drove over for the event with a buddy from Barney.

Great pic, James. Fo-tens fo-ever!

Merry CHRISTmas.

Mr. Haney: yes, been going regularly since they started (1969). My dad and mr. Norman became great friends, both shooting celestial quail now. Jbrown

"Celestial Quail" -- sounds like heaven to me I hope I shoot better in heaven, and that we all get to have a go at those celestial birds with our fathers that first took us.

If St. Peter actually greets us at the Golden Gates I hope he tells me I can have anything I want for supper. I'll humbly ask for fried quail, grits and heavy biscuits, and some strong, black coffee. I can think of nothing better.
