Default Cut barrels caveat

Gunbroker item 213420250. At 27 inches, cyl and cyl, with an unstruck weight of 4-4, I'm betting these have been cut 3 or 5 inches. Note the ground off flat spot at the end of the rib, a deliberate misrepresentation? Also looks like a seam at the dummied up DHBP. Anything else I missed? It's not nice to fool Mother Nature. I think you're right. Look at the toe end of the butt plate in the pic that shows the dog; the bottom has been ground off some. The border between the checkering and the edge is mostly missing.
