First dove of the season with a repro DHE 28ga running the 28" F/M bbls. I ended up with sporadic action and bagged 7. It's always amazing how people think a 28ga can't make many, if not all, of the same dove shots a 12 or 20 can. Pellets leaving at 1290fps are pellets at 1290fps
Bonus find was a chert flake laying next to the dove and an odd looking piece of chert about 3' away. We were right by a major river in AL, so I'm sure the flake was a product of arrowhead production (or the like). I think the prosthetic nipple is natural.
Anyways, here are some pictures. Didn't get a full picture in the field so I included a cased picture, since I know you guys wanna see wood, ha!
