New member new to me Parker

I recently purchased a 16 gauge VHE 28” barrels made in 1929 . It is at the gunsmith having the ejectors cleaned . So no pictures ,yet. I’m also a member of the Winchester ,Sharps and Smith & Wesson collector groups . I prefer to shoot my guns even thought I also like to admire their beauty . I hunted with a 20 gauge Parker while in high school but while I was in college the son of the man who gave it to my father reclaimed it with the new stock we had put on it . This summer , after 50 years , I decided to replace it but I’m a 16 gauge guy right now so I got a 16 . Look forward to learning more about Parkers from the vast knowledge of this group and maybe add a Parker or two along the way .
