Was there a single chamber length used for twelve gauge guns in 1928 (I have a VH) that would ensure me what my gun was originally built with? If not, would this "research paper" document that I am hearing about, be unarguable proof? Let's say for grins that this needs to be determined without actually measuring the chambers; that I would like documented proof just because I do.
