Default OK Stupid Question

How do I release the top lever from its position out to the right after removing the barrels?

Use a pencil, etc. and push Down on the small trip tab between the action bars below the face of the action. The lump does this on closing.

Use a pencil (something non-damaging) and push down on the small "tab" in the frame that is in the slot and between the pin holes (way down on the bottom). Hold the pressure of the lever when pressing and then let it slide to the center when it's held down.
