It can sit there for 2 years at that price as far as I'm concerned. No collector value and way too much for a shooter. JMHO.

Thumbs up

My thoughts exactly. I think it's worth maybe half that...IF you just can't live without a 28 gauge..and are prepared to restore it .. I think Turnbull has one now..his restoration..for 13K..

It has been on GB for a long time as it is.
When it was first listed his reserve was over $20k.

It is an 0 frame gun.

Save a lot of money and buy a Parker Repro 28ga for $5k and have the same fun. And buy something nice for your wife.

Jerry, I would like to see the gun and form my own opinions - can you please post the GB item number?

Reggie, the one you reference has also been around a while, but is actually quite a nice gun. The one in Florida is a far cry from nice.

It is Edgar. I met with the owner and examined it thoroughly.
I still have questions in my mind about that one.
If it is a restored gun it is expertly done and I have seen none better.
If it is in factory original condition it is a marvelous example, but if original there are a few things about the gun that raise my curiosity.
