Default Barrel removal

Tried to remove the barrels on my newly acquired G grade and they will not come off. Each time I break the gun open I hear a click and it seems the hook will not release. The barrels have been coming off fine until now. I could not find how to search the forum as I know this has probably been discussed before. Any help is appreciated.

Possibly an issue with the un-hooking slide. Pull the triggers, remove the forearm & see if the barrels come off.
