Default A pair of adoptable pointers in NE PA

[Moderators, I have no connection to this shelter so please delete this post if it is at all inappropriate for the board]

I just spotted this listing and have no idea if they field-trained, but someone here may be interested:

[from a Facebook post:]
(near) SCRANTON, PA: Pretty cute, right? Well, they'd look cuter in your home! 7 year olds Bailey (left) and Stella (right) are English Pointers who are looking to be adopted together. This brother and sister duo are practically attached at the hip. When at the playground with other doggy-kids, they're the siblings who prefer to stick near each other and stay side-by-side. Help us to keep these cuties together, PLEASE SHARE!

Pike County Humane Society wrote, "Stella and Bailey came to another shelter as strays in a populated area. We took them in so they could benefit from the large fenced in area we have. They have been with us for a couple of months now.

These two have spent their whole life together. At seven years old they still have a lot of love and energy. They would benefit most from a fenced in yard as they are very active. They are more independent, not the type to give kisses, but they do demand attention. For example, pushing your hand to be pet.

Stella and Bailey run with a group of ten large dogs in our fenced in area, they mostly stick together but will play a little bit with the other dogs. They can't be around any other small animals, their prey drive is too high.

Stella and Bailey must be adopted together with a fenced in yard. We would prefer the adopter to be schooled in a hunting type breed."

To adopt Stella and Bailey, please contact the shelter by emailing pikecountyhs@gmail.com or calling 570.296.7654.

Pike County Humane Society is located at 189 Lee Road, Shohola, PA.

Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 12 noon to 3PM, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 4PM.
