Default parker bird

Brought my 14 year old grandson on his 3rd turkey hunting season this year, No luck on the youth wk end, but good luck today, He was shooting my 30 inch parker vh 20 ga choked F/F with 1 oz 6's. Two jakes came along the the wall we were set up at after being chased off by two toms, At 19 yds he shot and drop the 1st one in it's tracks! The other jake started to jump on the downed bird, Zach handed me the gun but i didn't shoot because i told the land owner that my grandson would be doing the shooting. Found out on the way out when we ran into him he said he didn't care if i shot one too. Would have been nice to shoot a double with Zach. 4 1/2 inch beard,3/8ths inch spurs at 14 1/2 lbs, this is number 3 for him!! Scott

My grandson got his first turkey last sunday in NY. It is so much better than shooting one myself. Congratulations to you and your grandson, and many more.

Nice job. You know he will remember you for the rest of his life and that is as close to immortality as we can get.

Nothing like the feeling of harvesting your first turkey. And there is probably nothing like the feeling you get when you see your grandson get his first turkey. Congrats.

Very nice. It always cracks me up to watch the outdoor shows using autoloaders with special gadgets so they can get a load of 3 & 1/2 inch mag shot 50 to 60 yrds out to kill their bird! Pretty cool to see people getting it done in vintage style!
