Default A very special day!

Happy Birthday to our dear friend, Art Wheaton. Art has given selflessly to the PGCA for many many years and is in many ways responsible for the genesis of the Parker Foundation.

Happy birthday, Art!!! Many happy returns!

Hey Art, Happy Birthday you ol' "Brush Worn"!!

Seriously, Congratulations and here's wishing you Many More Happy Returns!

What an example he has set for us all - what a mentor he is and has been to so many - What vision and perception he has. And he's a pretty darned accomplished writer too.

Art is the epitome of and the 'Poster Child' for somebody who does nothing halfway. When I grow up I want to be just like Art Wheaton!

Default Birthday

Oh Lord, the station is closer than I would like. Thanks for the well wishes and I will be going to the mailbox for checks, UPS for a 28 two holer, or Fed Ex for other fine accoutrements which surely are on the way.
Any contributions to the PARKER world come with the unselfish and generous support of others. One man bands never play well.
Maybe there is another stumble through the covers this fall and some village idiot will offer the supreme sacrifice.
Thanks for kind words.

I believe that Art, as a very young man at Remington, met my Dad many years ago, Congratulations, Art

In Short, A Class Act...

I have enjoyed all past conversations with Art, including many things "Setter", and the select historians who honored those many Setters through oil on canvas, and the carefully written word...

It was just last week I was back once again Brushing-Over A.F. Hochwalt, & Ford's ~ "Road to Tinkhamtown".

Best To You on Your BD Art, & Many More To Come...

Regards, Chris ~ CSL
