Default Best way to bend a trigger?

I have a 1905 DH with the rear trigger bent for a lefty. Looks to be factory. What is the best way to bend it over for the right hand?

Joe,
My Vh one frame 12 ga had both triggers bent for a lefty. Brad Bachelder changed them out for right hand triggers.

What Jeff said Joe ,they're not hard to swap and there's lots of triggers floating around .

Good luck with it !

If you need a pair of triggers, I have about... 30 sets. Bound to be a few in there to fit your needs.

It pains me to point this out, but triggers on a good double gun do not interchange like wheel rims on a Chevy. Some might. Some might not. The point of concern is the trigger blade's interface with the sear tail. If this is incorrect, then the sear/notch engagement might be effected and the gun may be rendered unsafe.

Best to trust trigger interchange to a good double gun smith...

I was simply letting the OP know that if he needed to locate parts, that I could help with this. No need to talk Chevys.

Joe;
I'm a lefty who has been shooting right handed guns for years and I guess I just learned to adapt. Cast is one thing , but the right handed triggers I never concerned myself with. I'd love to shoot one with those left handed triggers to see what I've been missing.

I agree with Brian on this Kensal ...but I should have been more clear I guess , and although it did pain you to some extent ,you are mostly correct they don't always just "swap out" but it's really not that major of an operation no more labour intensive and likely a little less so than dismantling and heating /bending the originals back into shape ...No Doubt someone like Bachelders has a boatload of leftovers in his shop ,Brian admittedly has 30 or so I have likely that or more ,in that case I would just match a set and swap them out .

I wasn't trying to belittle the work involved ,or cause any rolled eyes ...but I could of spent more time on my post .

My apology for that

Heck, I was thinking I could just take it off and put the blade in a machinists vice and gently bend it over. Do you think there is too much risk in this?
