	Tom, we do have a lot of turkeys in Texas but only in places where there is a decent amount of water or rainfall. When conditions are dry as in drought years, the turkeys are tough to find especially in W. Texas. I have been hunting this same ranch in Mertzon (30 mi NW of San Angelo) for the past 18 years and have only had 2 years without bagging a couple of spring toms.  |
