Default Double on Dove

I was shooting Papa's Trojan 20 yesterday. The wind was brisk and dove running with the wind were a trick to down. Those beating against the wind were easy shots, but few took that tack. I shot two boxes of shells and was a little disappointed in myself plus I screwed myself into the ground more than once trying to get in front of a bird. I hate shooting over corn because you miss more shooting trying to pick up a downed bird. The same with shooting a double. You can follow the last bird shot to ground and pick it up, but the first bird shot often takes forever to bring to bag. I shot a double yesterday and had a half mark on the first bird and a positive mark on the second. I picked both up and was back on my stand within two minutes. My tail wags for dove season.

I have photos, but I'm not clever enough to post pictures from Mac. I select the picture, I push the uoad button and nothing. The upload button does not acknowledge being pushed and I wait and still nothing.

JJ,

I agree that the Trojan is a handy Parker in all gauges. The 20 was found by my father under the Christmas Tree.

Mills,

I guess I could scratch a story out of it. I have a story I've been meaning to send for a few years now.
