Got a interesting GH ,its a 12ga made in 1899 with Remington V grade 1/2 frame barrels and forearm iron and wood, the receiver is a 1 frame , 1 1/16 between the firing pin holes. Remington date code of july 1940 on barrels. The guns weight is 6 lb 10 oz with the 26 inch barrels. The letter says it had 28 inch Dam barrels and had a weight of 6 lb 12 oz when it was made. Has anyone else seen other older 12ga #1 frame guns that were fitted with Remington 1/2 frame barrels ?
