Default Grouse Tales

In the latest issue of Grouse Tales, a semi-monthly newsletter on grouse hunting is a picture of PGCA member and gunsmith Brian Dudley and friend after a successful grouse hunt. Hey Brian, what kind of gun were you carrying?

Sounds like a good magazine to subscribe to.

That was me and my friend Jim. He told me about it today via email. He told me they switched up the names. I am the younger guy.
That day I was carrying a Parker GH 12g if I remember correctly.
It was a year ago.

We were out on closing day. Didn't see much of anything at all. We were trying a logging trail and the trail split around a thicket. As we both came around it, that bird flushed out from between us and favored Jim's side. He got it while turning. Nearly fell over in the process.

I saw that as well. Congrats on making it on there......Ken usually doesn't add many photos to the newsletter.

Yeah, I had no idea. I don't even get the newsletter. My friend Jim does.
We are going out again on Monday. Maybe we can have a repeat.

The website for Grouse Tales is www.grousetales.com. I actually met Ken out in the grouse woods in Ohio back in the 1980's and have suscribed to his newsletter since then.
