Thanks Dave. I have used that and it is ok, but it tends to I've on the stock and come undone at the wrong time.

I have used a lace on pad that I believe came from Galco. I also tried the various foam spacer available from Galazan. These are inexpensive about $10 plus shipping (another $10). If you would like to try these I'll gladly send them to you.

Ed, I've not tried that product. The problem with these pads is that they tend to move your cheek too far from the centerline of the stock depending on how thick they are.
By far, the best product I've found is the Beretta Gel-Tech pad. It's avaiable in 2 sizes, 1/8 and 1/4 inch. If you ever want to take it off, it leaves no residue on the stock and you can reuse it. It's semi transparent and very soft. Amazing pad. Here is a link but it's available from various sources. http://www.berettausa.com/shop-by-de...side-shotguns/ |

I agree with Chuck. The Beretta pad is really good.

For years i used a similar product from Meadow Industries. Probably shot 20,000 rounds of Skeet with it on a Browning Citori. Never came loose on me. Their product allows different heights based on spacers used underneath it and the "centerline" isn't an issue.

The problem with the Meadows Industries pad is that it's held on with Velcro. When you remove the Velcro it leaves residue on the stock which has to be removed.

Thanks for the tip on the Gel-Tec pad from Beretta. Been looking for something like this for a while. I have the riser from RST which seems to work but it's damn ugly. Also have a stick-on pad from Galazen but it's not removable. For $29 I'll give the Gel-Tec a try.
