Default Julia auction

I just checked the prices realized. Look like there were some good deals. Several nice guns sold right at or below estimates. Don't know what that means for the Parker market. Estimates a little high, demand not great or everything just right? The DH and Lifter grade 2 in high conition sold for very fair money I thougt. I should have taken a shot at them.

Anyone who was interested in buying Parkers should have been at that sale. The sellers must be in tears unless they negotiated a Zero Commission.

I was there for day one only. That was the day that the Parkers were sold.
Most of the Parkers had issues. Some were minor. Some were serious. I only bid on one Parker and lost it because the gun had issues that reduced the value (to me).

I did not examine any of the repros as I had no interest.

I suspect that most serious and knowledgeable Parker collectors would not have paid the prices that were realized.

PGCA members in attendance were sparse and scarce.----As I should have been.---Daryl

I saw the Lefever 8 gauge did not sell which surprised me. I thought it would easily bring the minimum estimate of $25,000. The XHE Super Fox shattered the informal estimates on the Fox Forum. It is like predicting the weather, I guess.

I don't remember what the high bid was on the 8 gauge lefever was. I thought that the gun looked very sharp.-----I too was surprised that it did not sell.-----Daryl

I bid on 1468 so why does it show $0.00?
