I just wanted to compare any data to the gun itself. Barrels measure 28".
It is a #1 frame and I think it's a 16 gauge. It has whats left of a leather pad on the butt. The bores may have been polished just judging on the finish.
Thanks for checking. If the price is right, I might pull the trigger on this one.

Best regards,

Jeff

Good news.

The barrels were not polished, just in good condition. Tomorrow i will purchase a 16 gauge cleaning brush and use up a little elbow grease and see what i end up with. Looks promising !

Best regards,

Jeff

"Not in the Book" means nothing. Use the PGCA site to see whether there is information about your gun in the PGCA research files. Shame on our resident "expert" Dave Suponski for not telling this poster that order book information is probably available on his gun. "Not in the Book" is not a legitimate answer to posters who ask for information on their guns. If you are going to post, tell the poster what he can do to obtain more information on his gun, including a PGCA letter and Griffin and Howe research information.

Bill, Thanks for setting me straight. I apologize to Jeff for not giving him the whole story. If I remember correctly I was in a bit of a rush and did a quick check for Jeff. Note to self.....Don't post unless you have time to write the whole story....

Oh and as far as the "Expert" thing goes I learn here every day just like everybody else.
