Default Volunteers requested for Eastern Panhandle SxS

The PGCA will be represented at the Eastern Panhandel shoot at Prospect Hall West Va. later this month and we could use some help in manning our booth. I know I posted up a request several weeks ago but for the life of me I can't find the old thread. If your coming to this new venue and could spare an hour or two at our booth your help will be greatly appreciated.

What I cant seem to find is a schedule of events. I was thinking about going on Fri/Sat. Does it start during the day on Thurs or does the shooting start on Fri.?

Was also considering Ernie Hausmans shoot. I know Ernie, but havnt seen him for years. Would ther be more vendors there? Distance wise , the WV shoot is only three hours, but Ernies is probably 6-7 hrs.

Rich;
You got me when you need me.
Harold:
The shooting I believe starts on Thurs. and ends on Sat. There will be a fair amount of vendors there. Please come as I would like to put a face with the name.

Chuck and Daryl thanks for the assistance.

Harold I believe the shooting for both venues starts on Friday and runs through Sunday. If your haveing as hard time decideingthen.......do both! This is the first shoot in West Va a 9.5hr drive. I've been to hausmanns several times and this will be my 4th year drive time 13hrs. Either way the vendors will be great some such as Barnett's Fine Guns (and they are fine) will be at both. If you come to W. Va I'll have my new Grouse gun there

Rich, here's the old thread:

As already noted I'll help out for a while.

The links on this thread go directly to the home page of the Panhandle Shoot. Click on "EVENT" and it will go to the schedule of events. The dates of the shoot are May 16 through May 18. That would be Thursday through Saturday, what we have been asking for at side by side shoots and gun shows for years. Now we have it. Come on down.

There will be great vendors and great guns at the Panhandle SxS. Best Guns Ltd. (our booth) will have the guns remaining that we didn't sell at the Southern SxS last week. We only have one Parker Gun left; the big heavy frame 10 ga. hammer Grade 2. Buyers at the Southern finally came to their senses and bought the beautiful 0 grade 12 ga early hammer gun w/ Briley 28 ga. tubes, completely and wonderfully restored by Turnbull, Kearcher & Turloch, also the clean-as-a-pin 32" VH 12 ga. #2 frame F&F, arguably the best Parker at the best price in the whole event (at least the guy who was waiting for us when we threw the tent flap back at 8AM Sunday morning thought so!). Not to worry, though; we still have some great Belgian Browning Superposeds, English smallbore nitro steel barrel hammer guns, and other American SxS classics. See you there (EARLY!)
