Looks like a keeper to me ! Wish I could find one like that at a yard sale .You also talk about the stock and forend but cant really see from your pictures . You get all them guns at the same sale ?

No that was at the sale.Guy was kind enough to leave me alone with the guns.Most were in rough shape.Nice lever gun there but in rough shape.
Parker was the best of them all. |

I am VERY curious to see more photos of the buttstock. The bottom of the grip is very different. Parker did do some interesting carving of grips on earlier guns than this and usually in higher grades. And your grigger guard is intriguing. It is a two screw guard, which is not at all standard, but your guard and the screws appear to be factory by way of fitment and engraving.

Gun does have shield on top of grip right where its supposed to be but the pistol grip is what has me stumped.Its a 2 frame but the stock looks large for a 2 framed gun,in the pistol grip area.But might just be my imagination.

Stock looks original except the ball grip was altered. Probably to use as a place to rest gun on in a blind or stand etc. looks like a grade 2 10 ga. With never Deeley latch conversion. Nice find and should make a nice shooter with light short10 loads
