A while back I posted that it was my wifes opinion that I had to much stuff. Well today the clutter had disrupted her inner universe to such a degree that we cleaned the corner in the basement that has been piled with boxes since we moved....6 years ago
As we went through each and every box I found several gun cases that I didn't know I had, 2 Boyt's and a JW Hulme I'd forgotten about are the three best ones but there were several others that have moved to the front of the line for this fall. In an old briefcase that I cleaned out to put in her garage sale I found 3 issues of Parker Pages from 2004. We have come a long way here as an organization and it will be fun to re read them. I also came upon and old Tri Tronic E-Collar still in it's original case. I had no idea this was even there. There is a orange vest (I was thinking of buying a new one) and a couple of upland hunting coats that can be put to good use this fall also. Wrapped up in a cloth that comes with a Leopold scope tucked into a cup holder was a tool to manually cock an L.C. Smith I haven't had a Smith in over 10 years!
There's a big pile of "stuff" to go to the cabin and I donated some old baseball caps and a couple of old coats to her garage sale.
I guess it's good to go through your stuff once in a while....you never know what you might find
