The Souther Parker vs LC Smith

New official member and just recently got my second parker, first good condition one and a GH step up from my VH, but am looking to attend The Southern for second time but first time shooting. Want to compete in a few events especially to try and make the parker team. Anything I should know beforehand on what I need to do to compete to try and make the team such what to bring, where to be and when, and etc???
