The Parker Story has a chart of receiver dimensions. I can't recall the page number. The chart has probably been posted on this site also. Woops, it's page 527 in TPS.

That chart, also shown in the Serialization book, only covers the front of the frame. My recollection is the head dimensions of the 1 1/2, and 2 frame are the same. As in many things lately, I could be misrecollecting that too.

Edgar, I know that the TPS chart on page 527 does not cover all dimensions. I don't know why that is, but I didn't want to throw a monkey wrench into my reply. Maybe the best reply would be to tell the OP what the dimensions are that he needs. Oh, he has a #2 frame gun in his possession that he can measure. Problem solved.

Parker Stock Dimensions...
Hello Bill and Edgar,
Thank you for your input. The people I bought the stocks from merely had a box of parts and assured me, obviously without evidence, that the stocks they had came from #2 Frame Parkers... Once bitten, twice shy! Do either of you know of anyone who might have a suitable #2 Frame buttstock? Best Regards, Gary |
