Default Parkers in 1949

A friend recently presented me with a 1949 Abercrombie & Fitch 1949 price list for used guns. Thought you might like to see what Parkers were bringing back in the day. "My Gun" is number 118 on the list. An AAH Pigeon with 32" Whitworth barrels for $600. I believe that's about $7400 adjusted for inflation. Maybe those really were the days

I saw an A&F gun catalog for sale at the Southern, but did not buy it.

Does your AAH have "pigeon gun" inscribed on the rib?

In the real life I don't have one.

I’d jump on it at the now inflated price of $7400 and I have no intentions of buying anything

I'd have thought you guys would be all over No. 255, the 34-inch barrel, no safety A1-Special. I'd go for that $90 28-gauge Model 12 Skeet Gun. Then again, I was only three years old.

114 is interesting. If I recall correctly, it was for sale not too long ago.
